Alberta Innovation and Advanced Education

Over 210 Alberta communities are engaged in Regional Economic Development Alliances involving governments, community and business leaders.

These Regional Economic Development Alliances (REDAs) stimulate investment to capture opportunities generated through resource-based and value-added development, while facilitating growth from within the region through business retention and expansion initiatives.

Currently, there are 11 Regional Economic Development Alliances in Alberta. They are comprised of larger groupings of communities who have agreed to work together with a shared vision to address a broad range of issues relating to economic growth and long-term economic viability.

For more information and a map of each Regional Economic Development Alliance area, visit the REDA web page.
